On Going Mission Opportunities:

We have the special privilege of ministering to the residents of The Grove Nursing Home twice a month. On the second Monday of the month we share cakes, pies and donuts with them at 10:00 in the morning. On the fourth Sunday of the month we have a church service for them with lots of their favorite songs. Special events during the year include a fish fry in May for the whole nursing home. Christmas is a special time for the children to visit each room caroling and giving each resident a gift. Our Sewing Seed ladies are always gracious to make the gifts to give them. It is a joy just to see the smile on their faces. Come and join us in this rewarding ministry

We have an on going ministry with a wonderful couple that is called to take the gospel to the deaf of East Asia. Their commitment is such an inspiration to us. They keep us informed by e-mail of the situations they face and the requests they have for prayer. We have had the privilege of helping them purchase a camera to be used in their ministry and are in the process of helping purchase a computer program to use in translation and production of Bible stories in their native language.

We support missions through the Baptist Cooperative Program and have our own special offering emphasis for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, the Children’s Home Offering in May, and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. We have a season of prayer for special missionaries during each offering emphasis.

Dunklin Memorial, a faith based program in Okeechobee that rehabilitates men that are substance abusers. They cannot leave the grounds and do not have money to buy their children gifts at Christmas. We get the names and ages of the children and our people take the names and buy gifts for them. If you want a real blessing just be on the van when it leaves to deliver the gifts to the men. Their testimonies and the thankful spirit they have toward us such a blessing you come away with great joy. We have also collected supplies for the men through our VBS.
