Ladies Faith Based Ministry

The ladies Faith Based Ministry was started in March of 2006. We try to go twice a month to the jail in Bartow. It is truly a blessing to speak to these women, and try to encourage them, and tell them that Jesus can make a difference in their life. They are very receptive and eager to hear the Good News.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We all need the Lord weather we are down in a valley or up on the mountain top.

The Grapevine

The Grapevine is a group that helps with meals for those that may be getting out of the hospital, and do not have much help at home. Also if there has been a death in the family, we provide food at this time... Ladies are assigned to each day of the week, Monday through Friday. As needed, each day prepares a meal. We try to keep up with our new members.... but sometimes we miss here or there. If you are not on the list call Joann Van Deusen or the church office.

The Ladies Bible Study

The Ladies Bible Study meets every Friday from 9am-10am in the Fellowship Hall. Our study is a sixteen week study called "Having a Mary Spirit."
All ladies are welcome.

Sowing Seeds

"Sowing Seeds" is a group of women that meet every friday morning at 10am to 1pm in the Fellowship Hall. Our mission is to sow seeds for our Savior Jesus Christ by giving to the needy, helping those that are struggling and those that are sick. We reach out to many places, such as Nursing Homes, Hospitals, needy families of our community and even to distressed areas in the north, homless, hurricane, tornado victims, etc. As we make items to give these places prayers are said while we are making them and are always sent out with a prayer. A small tract is included in our gifts to others. If we can verbally witness to someone we do. New ladies are always welcome. Stop in any Friday and check us out. There is always something to do. We will keep you busy!
